Viewers will get a full replay of country singer Alan Jackson's final live performance when NBC airs "Alan Jackson: The Last Show" on December 8. The broadcast allows audiences to watch the entire concert, which took place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville. Those who prefer digital viewing can access the special on the Peacock streaming platform on December 9. This release schedule ensures the event is available to both cable and streaming subscribers within a 24-hour window.

The concert was recorded on June 29, 2026, during a sold-out show at the Nashville venue. The special includes musical performances and appearances by a list of prominent artists in the genre. Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, and Cody Johnson all appeared on stage. Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Jake Owen, Jon Pardi, Thomas Rhett, and Carrie Underwood also participated. Lainey Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, and the Wright brothers from Big City Brian Wright and Carlisle Wright rounded out the guest list.

Jackson performed several of his signature tracks during the set. The repertoire included "Chattahoochee," "It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere," "Remember When," "Gone Country," and "Livin’ on Love." The audio from these performances will be released on a live album titled "The Last Show: One More for the Road. The Finale (Live from Nashville)." According to the concert's official description, the program focuses on Jackson's catalog of hits from a career spanning more than three decades.

Sam Wrench directed the production. Wrench is known for directing the 2023 film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" and the "Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special" released earlier this year. His filmography includes concert recordings for Sabrina Carpenter, Laufey, BTS, Brandi Carlile, Billie Eilish, Andrea Bocelli, and Mumford & Sons. The production is a collaboration between Joan of Arc StudioWorks and EverWonder Studio.

Cindy Mabe, Dawn Gates, and Harper Grae served as executive producers for Joan of Arc StudioWorks. Mike Antinoro and Raj Kapoor held executive producer roles for EverWonder Studio. Alan Jackson, Debbie Doebler, and RAC Clark also listed as executive producers. Allison Roithinger, Victoria Chamlee, and Danny Meiseles acted as co-executive producers for the EverWonder team.

Jackson has held multiple industry honors. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2018. The Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame elected him in 2011. In 2021, the singer publicly stated that he had been managing Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease for at least ten years. This degenerative nerve condition affects the extremities and can impair mobility.

The December 8 air date marks the next scheduled step in the distribution of the concert. The live album release date has not been specified in the current announcement. The special will remain available on Peacock following its initial broadcast window.
