Denver residents identified five specific areas within city limits as the top locations for Halloween trick-or-treating. These recommendations rely on staff input and online community data to locate blocks with high concentrations of decorated homes.

The neighborhood surrounding Washington Park offers an organized annual event on South Gaylord Street. The Trick-or-Treat Street runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Halloween evening. The area is part of one of Denver's wealthiest zip codes, which has a median household income of $118,759.

North and South Park Hill are popular walkable options for families. Streets in these neighborhoods typically feature extensive spooky decorations and many adults prepared to distribute candy. The layout allows for easy movement between houses during the evening.

Oneida Street, specifically the block between Sixth and Eighth avenues, draws hundreds of children. The street usually closes to automobile traffic for the holiday. Both local media staff and users on Reddit forums have cited this location as a reliable spot for finding treats.

In northeast Denver, the Central Park area hosts what the Central Park Scoop calls an all-hands-on-deck community event. Neighbors report receiving anywhere from fifty to thousands of visitors. The activity generally begins around 5 p.m. and concludes by 9 p.m., with dogs and children filling the streets.

The Berkeley neighborhood, particularly near Tennyson Street, is known for large-scale Halloween displays. Residents in this area are noted for going big on decorations and preparing for a busy night of handing out sweets to visitors.
