Seven Denver restaurants were named to OpenTable's Top 100 Restaurants in America list released Wednesday.

The reservation platform analyzed more than 11 million reviews from verified diners to compile the ranking. Metrics included ratings, the percentage of five-star reviews, advance reservation rates, capacity percentages, and direct search volume. The list only includes eateries that use OpenTable as their reservation provider, excluding spots that rely on other services like Resy.

The number of Denver entries rose from five last year to seven this year. OpenTable designated the city as on the rise nationally, noting that its count now equals the total for the entire state of Texas.

Chef Johnny Curiel accounted for three of the selected venues: Alma Fonda Fina, Mezcaleria Alma, and Milpero. All three hold Michelin stars. The Wolf's Tailor, Colorado's only two-star establishment, also made the cut. Alteño, another Curiel concept, was included despite holding a Michelin recommendation rather than a star.

Two other establishments rounded out the group. Guard & Grace, the 12-year-old steakhouse owned by chef Troy Guard, has repeatedly appeared on national best-of lists. Florence Supper Club, a newer Italian restaurant known for difficult-to-obtain reservations, completed the Denver contingent.
