Alicia Machado, a former Venezuelan beauty queen, was condemned for the second time in a row on the reality show 'Juego de Villanos' this Wednesday. The decision came from Lis Vega, who cited concerns about Machado's well-being as her reason for voting to keep the contestant in the competition.
Machado was placed on the block alongside Alex Caniggia and Alex Ghita. Although she has developed a close relationship with Ghita since the start of the season, Vega's vote placed her in the danger zone again. Vega stated that she wants to protect Machado, saying, 'For me, the most important thing is her health and I believe that in this game it is at risk.'
The timeline of Machado's recent struggles on the show includes the elimination of Yina Calderón earlier in the season. Vega now appears to be Machado's newest rival. When Vega made her decision, Machado responded with a direct threat. She stated, 'If I stay, Lis Vega, I will make sure you are the next one to leave.'
Machado insists she is in perfect health, despite Vega's vague references to her condition. The three condemned contestants must now await the final vote to determine who will be the third person eliminated from the competition. The first two eliminated were Sandra Itzel and Yina Calderón.
No clear favorite for elimination has emerged among the three. Caniggia and Ghita have built strong connections with the other housemates, while Machado has generated consistent attention since the show began. The next elimination will determine who joins the previous two contestants in leaving the series.
